Steel Type and Type Holders
Type Holders – The simple solution for multiple character marking
Hand Model Type Holder is furnished with spring pin to hold the notched type.
An Allen wrench and screw are included to lock the type together. When ordering, please include:
- Holder number along with capacity of holder and type size. Illinois Engraving notched steel type 1″ long must be used with the holder. No other steel stamps fit.
- Size and quantity of each character of Illinois Engraving notched steel type required.
- Blank spacers for spaces between characters or for filling the unused capacity of the holder. The holder will not stamp unless it is filled to capacity with the steel type or blank spacers.
- Don’t forget to order extra characters (letters and/or numbers) that may be required for a gang stamp.
